There are two times in the year when there’s no question what equipment the conditions demand. In summer’s heat, you go light; in winter’s bitter cold, you go heavy. This face mask is engineered for the latter. This mask combines the insulating inner layer of the lighter Winter Neck Protector with the moisture-managing face fabric of the heavier Ultraz mask, striking a functional balance of dry insulation that’s warmer than the former but useful in more temperatures than the extreme latter. Our 3L 2XS Stratagon membrane is the Winter mask’s one unique feature, adding a layer of wind- and waterproof protection to the chin and throat.
