Complete with BOSS styling, the UMA GT Half Short embodies pure ASSOS engineering based on our time-tested endurance platform. The waistband features a stabilizing elastic layer that anchors the fit, and an additional top band of mesh that extends coverage for comfort, moisture management, and to eliminate gaps between shorts and jersey while in the saddle. The updated insert features increased ventilation, a reduced footprint, and a new odorControl Top Sheet Tex in Sugar Blue.

Type.429 is a study in contradictions: stretchy enough for a streamlined fit; breathable enough for the heights of summer; compressive enough to respond to and support your body; and substantial enough to resist the abuse of daily cycling. Supplemental Tech Sheen Mesh at the waist adds stretch, breathability, and coverage.

CONSTRUCTION/FIT

C2 AEPD regularFit is based on our performance race models but tuned for comfort with a more accommodating waist. The Long variant is 5cm longer in the leg and extends higher at the waist.

ENGINEERING

Ultralight Leg Grippers:
A silicone treatment woven through the 3.5cm bands creates a secure hold without restriction or lumpy transitional ridges between body and shorts.

Shock-Absorb Damping Mono:
Compressive foam layers in an 11mm endurance platform. Thermoformed shaping reduces ridges and irritation.
